St Trailer Tires Can Regular Car Tires Be Used On A Boat Trailer. The Size On The Trailer Now Are St 215/75r14?

Can regular car tires be used on a boat trailer. The size on the trailer now are st 215/75r14? - st trailer tires

Sure, as long as tires are the same size, which is the code size of car tires mean exactly the same, except for the "P" on the front. So if you are car tires are size P215/75R14, go to work. So make sure you inflate to 35 PSI cold (if you are put into the air after pulling out of the boat to give a gas station, up to about 40 PSI instead).

Technically, NO. But everything depends on the weight of the trailer and the cargo you carry. The trailer tires are more often evaluated with a load of car tires. If you have a light trailer and not with heavy luggage, you can through with it. Otherwise I would buy the trailer tire specialist. And do not forget to have car tires do not fit together with the tires of the trailer - a nightmare of manipulation. Discover the total weight of the boat and trailer and then the power rating per tire than it is.
