Tv Stand Castors How To Get Dark Spot Off Wooden TV Stand?

How to get dark spot off wooden TV stand? - tv stand castors

He had decorated my TV stand with a few mini-pumpkins Goard, etc. ... One of them rotted away, leaving a stain. I tried soap, wax, and even a little bleach on a Q-tip, but no luck. Ideas?

Removing stains from wood (some hidden initial testing)

1 teaspoon salt, 300 ml of linseed oil
With salt, the linseed oil and mix well.
The whole thing with a cotton cloth and rub marks
Polish with a clean cloth

or

Stubborn stains

1 teaspoon petroleum jelly, 2 teaspoons of turpentine
Mix in a small bowl.
Put a few drops on a soft cloth and rub vigorously on the stain.

For wood veneers
3 tablespns raw linseed oil, 3 c. Vinegar, 3 tablespoons of turpentine.
Mix together and apply in small amounts on a cloth and rub the spots to fade. Finish by rubbing with a piece of kitchen paper

Sand on the floor and again dye. Or you can always paint. I like my black furniture, the paint "spoiled" to.
